The purpose of the article presented is to carry out an analysis of the historical development of the educational scientific work of the Youth Technical Brigades (BTJ) in Cuba in the period from 1964 to 2021. In the study, the theoretical methods were applied for the investigative process. and empirical ones typical of educational research, with emphasis on those of the History of Education; It started from seeing the historical fact as an essential category of history as a science, which establishes the specific circumstances, the place and the time in which the phenomenon occurred, in which the researcher begins with a process of analysis and inductive reasoning, to arrive then at a qualitatively superior moment deductive process. Periodization was used as a methodological procedure revealing the milestones in the educational scientific work of the BTJ. At each stage studied, reference was made to considerations about the economic, political, social and educational ideal context; the work conferences of the brigades were analyzed; an analysis of the legal basis of the regulations was carried out; the educational scientific thought of José Martí, Ernesto Che Guevara and Fidel Castro Ruz was addressed and the predominant pedagogical approaches in each period were identified.
