Enfoque de la cotidianidad del proceso de enseñanza-aprendizaje de la geografía
Abstract
Teaching in the present, given the plurality of epistemic approaches to Geography, is a challenge that all teachers must face. Given this reality, it is necessary to fully understand how to approach the teaching-learning process of Geography. To achieve this, clarity lies in understanding the methodological foundations of its use and the conception to be developed. Leveraging cultural elements allows for comprehensive student development. This highlights the role of everyday life as a setting for opportunities to address the topics and issues routinely debated by the community as objects of study in the teaching of geography. The research presented is qualitative and considers dialectical materialism as a general method of knowledge, which allowed for the systematization of the essential foundations that support the approach to everyday life in the teaching-learning process of Geography. Theoretical and empirical methods were employed to facilitate the development of the research. Hence, the objective of this research is to propose an approach to everyday life in the teaching-learning process of Geography in Cuba, which contributes to the comprehensive development of students.
