Abstract

Improvement in the substantive training processes in higher education achieves its impact from the continuous preparation of its teacher, a key and determining factor for the development of universities. In the sense, postgraduate improvement alternatives are considered as the baseline for the implementation of training actions, in particular professionalization. In order to achieve successful performances with adequate and continuous updating, which allows gradual transition to higher levels in the professional training process, in correspondence with the demands of educational institutions; where excellence and equity are combined. An approach is made to the continuous process of improvement of teachers in university scenario, as it constitutes one of the highest priorities of the Ministry of Higher Education.
