Keywords: structure-function-functioning, organic integrity, initial formation, Biology

Abstract

Human Anatomy and Physiology is a discipline that is part of the initial training curriculum of the Biology teacher; includes the study of organ systems and their interaction with the environment and health, based on explaining the structure-function-functioning relationship that evidences the functional integrity of the human organism, which is why, in itself, it is integrate. The doctoral research that supports the article starts from systematizing previous studies. It contributes to enrich the theoretical foundations of the particular Didactics, by defining the concept of integration of anatomy physiological relationships and revealing or guiding, from practice, its intentional methodological treatment, from the implementation of an algorithm, expression of the singular and the specific in the discipline and its subjects. Such perception is based on organic integrity and the principle of integration, essential aspects in the organization and study of contents, through the establishment of interdisciplinary relationships, as a didactic condition that ensures the consistent reflection of existing relationships in nature. The results of its implementation were submitted to the criteria of specialists and were assessed with the application of a pre-experiment that demonstrated its correspondence with the previously expressed requirements.
