Abstract

One of the most complex phenomena of the contemporary world is the accelerated development of neoliberal globalization manifested in all areas of economic, political, social, scientific, and especially from the cultural point of view, the dizzying consequences can be seen in the strong threat to cultural identities and the vulnerability of human values, challenges that require the improvement of teachers' professional performance in relation to the process of formation and evolution of Cuban cultural identity. The subject constitutes a priority of the Cuban State according to the documents approved in the VII Party Congress and the Constitution of the Republic regarding the need to strengthen the study of national history and moral values. The research offers an overview of the process of formation and evolution of the Cuban cultural identity from its genesis to the present. Its objective is: To substantiate the process of formation and evolution of the Cuban cultural identity.
