Abstract

This article aims to assess the results obtained in the diagnosis of the current state of homophobic bullying prevention among second-year students in the Spanish-Literature program, considering that multiple factors influence the students' training process. These factors depend on the quality of their education and the design and implementation of activities related to their future professional work. A qualitative and descriptive methodology was used, employing theoretical, empirical, and descriptive statistical methods. The results revealed insufficient student knowledge about homophobic bullying, poor mastery of psychosocial skills that would allow them, as future educators, to confront homophobic bullying, and a lack of planning for outreach or research activities aimed at its prevention with in the year group. This demonstrates the need for an educational strategy in this program to prevent Prevention homophobic bullying, contributing to the development of comprehensive professional training.
