Los virus, ¿son organismos vivos? Discusión en la formación de profesores de Biología
Resumen
Los científicos discuten si los virus son microorganismos y, por tanto, si son vivos o no; sin célula hospedera, el virus no puede existir; sin embargo, los virus están presentes actualmente y coexisten con todos los seres vivos. Son acelulares y, por tanto, no cumplen los postulados de la teoría celular ni realizan metabolismo, cualidad esencial de la vida. Se han estudiado y se siguen estudiando, como herramientas para la genética microbiana y la ingeniería genética. En este trabajo se ponen a consideración algunos de los criterios autorales más importantes y se establece una discusión en la que el lector debe participar, de ahí que su objetivo es reflexionar sobre los argumentos relacionados con la naturaleza de los virus y su tratamiento en la formación de profesores de Biología.

Viruses are they living organisms? Discussion on the training of teachers of Biology
Abstract: The scientists discuss if the virus is microorganisms and, therefore, if they are alive or not; without cells guest, the virus cannot exist, however, the virus is present at the moment and they coexist with all the alive beings. They are not cellular and, therefore, they don't complete the postulates of the cellular theory neither they carry out metabolism, essential quality of the life. They have been studied and they are continued studying, as tools for the microbial genetics and the genetic engineering. In this work he/she puts on to consideration some of the approaches of the most important authors and a discussion settles down in the one that you should participate, with the result that its objective is to meditate on the arguments related with the nature of the virus and its treatment in the formation of professors of Biology.
