Abstract

Tourism has become a primary source of resources due to the recreational opportunities it offers to people of all ages and personal conditions. In this context, given the access of tourists in various situations of disability, deficiencies are noted in the required attention, in which barriers persist to the enjoyment of activities in socializing spaces and contexts. Such projection requires the training of personnel who work in tourism institutions, based on professional performance that reveals knowledge, skills and aptitudes, in correspondence with the demands of the environment and the characteristics of the clients. Hence, this article reflects on the need for human resource training, aimed at promoting the accessibility and inclusion of people with disabilities, from a pedagogical approach, a basic condition for accessible and inclusive tourism. as an expression of equity and social justice for everyone in Cuba. From the systematization of previous studies, the particularities that distinguish this reality are revealed and the coherent transformation is guided in other investigative stages.
