Abstract

Training and education is a social phenomenon that has made human beings aware of throughout their history. This wealth as a social phenomenon is manifested since man discovered the ways of survival and intellectual development to form or create various languages on Earth, hence it is necessary to value all human activity of the past to perceive its evolution and from the inherited works of art to transmit the accumulated knowledge and the assimilation of these by the young generations. The objective of this work is to expose the use of Sonas art pieces from the village of Lunda, in Angola, as didactic means that can be worked from the elementary school to provoke a deep reflection. Aspect of public interest, in particular of the Ministry of Education, which values the importance of these pieces of the l cokwe culture as means that can be included in the national curriculum of primary and secondary education. This aspect is seen with certain historical relevance for the appropriation of knowledge. It is highlighted how, since ancient times, the relationship between art and mathematics has been interpreted, the historical narration from orality, the relationship between the representation of chowe works of art, in didactics as a pedagogical science, manifesting cultural feelings, various forms of integration of contextualization, cultural identity and socio-professional systematization. Methods of theoretical, empirical and mathematical statistical level were used for the elaboration of the work.
