Creative thinking in elementary school students: Systematic review
Pensamiento creativo en los estudiantes de educación básica: Revisión sistemática
Abstract
The main objective of this systematic review is to analyze the progress of studies on creative thinking in elementary school students through a systematic review. Applying a bibliographic methodology, through the review of scientific literature under a planned and carefully executed process, in order to analyze previously published findings to answer a specific research question. The search engines selected for the systematic review were: Dialnet, Ebsco Host, Google Scholar, ProQuest and SciELO. From which 40 scientific articles were selected. It was concluded that creative thinking is an important aspect of human beings, which is related to the richness and diversity of experiences. Hence the importance of parents and teachers working together to foster students' abilities, in order to create children capable of solving everyday problems with novel ideas and thus optimally develop their cognitive, emotional and personal skills.
