Abstract

The educational system in Cuba has remained in constant transformation throughout history due to the fervent research work of its teachers, always linked to social changes. The teaching of language and literature does not escape these new perspectives of improvement in research, in which technology occupies a predominant place as a training process that seeks to update and improve pedagogical practices, providing teachers with tools that they must use to teach their classes. Through empirical methods, such as diagnosis, survey and questionnaire, it has been detected that the student requires the use of technology, which is why it is analyzed how digital tools, multimedia resources and interactive platforms have transformed the traditional approach to teaching, facilitating dynamic and participatory learning. The objective of this research is to integrate technology into the curriculum so that critical and creative skills are formed in students. Through practical examples and case studies, it is evident how technology promotes a collaborative environment that stimulates interest in reading and writing, patenting the role of the teacher as a mediator of the teaching-learning process.
