Abstract
The article addresses a topic that, despite being recurrent, such as the teaching of the Spanish language in primary education, is no longer a topic of permanent interest due to the need for students to learn to speak, read and write their language correctly. The objective is: to reveal the importance of teaching the Spanish Language with an ethical, axiological and humanistic approach that stimulates the motivation and interest of students in their learning. The methods used are empirical, the analysis of documentary and theoretical sources, such as analytical - synthetic, historical - logical and theoretical systematization. The result addresses the theoretical articulation of the pedagogical - didactic conception of the teaching of the Spanish Language with the ethical, axiological and humanistic approach, based on the pedagogical professionalism of the teacher and his preparation in it, which is unprecedented in previous research. . The conclusions arrive at the need for an integrative vision of the teaching-learning process of the Spanish Language in the 4th grade of Basic Education that incorporates the ethical, axiological and humanistic approach to promote values, motivation and interest in learners.
