Abstract
The objective of this research was to determine the relationship between transformational leadership and social skills in Social Sciences students at the Federico Villarreal National University in the year 2023. The research was of correlational level and non-experimental design. The technique used was the survey and a questionnaire was applied using Microsoft Forms. The universe was constituted by the students of the Faculty of Social Sciences enrolled in the year 2023 in that University. A non-convenience sample was used. The Multifactorial Leadership Questionnaire MLQ (5X abbreviated) and Goldstein's Social Skills Checklist were used to evaluate transformational leadership. The analysis of the results indicates that Cronbach's alpha obtained an indicator that is above 0.7 and therefore it can be affirmed that the instrument has a high degree of reliability. It was possible to determine that there is a direct relationship between transformational leadership and social skills in the students of the Faculty of Social Sciences.
