The optimal theoretical-methodological preparation of Dominican History teachers at the UASD
La preparación teórico-metodológica óptima de los docentes de Historia Dominicana en la UASD
Abstract
This article highlights the theoretical-methodological references that serve as a basis for the optimal preparation of teachers at the School of History and Anthropology of the Autonomous University of Santo Domingo (UASD) to teach the subject of Dominican History. The objective of this study is to achieve the optimal theoretical-methodological preparation of teachers through the formulation and implementation of an interactive didactic strategy in the teaching-learning process of Dominican History at the UASD. This is a qualitative research that incorporates a multiplicity of theoretical methods, such as: historical-logical, analytical-synthetic, inductive-deductive, socio-critical and the systematization of experiences, to achieve a deep and holistic understanding of the phenomenon. The results and their corresponding conclusions reveal that the optimal theoretical-methodological preparation of teachers in the teaching-learning process of History implies the comprehensive development of teachers in the mastery and implementation of interactive teaching strategies, critical theories, teaching methodologies. -learning, information and communication technologies (ICT) and a clear axiological perspective in the treatment of the curricular contents of history, in order to ensure that students assume more active roles in their approaches, critical reflections and construction process of historical knowledge.
