Abstract
El artículo que se presenta aborda un aspecto de gran importancia para la práctica y la teoría pedagógica: la solución de problemas. Es reconocido por diferentes especialistas, maestros y profesores que la comprensión de textos está estrechamente unida a la solución de problemas, sin embargo, no se ha profundizado suficientemente sobre las relaciones que desde el punto de vista teórico, existen entre estos procesos. Consecuentemente con lo planteado en el artículo se persigue el objetivo de explicar las interrelaciones existentes entre los conceptos de texto y problema matemático; así como de los procesos comprensión textual y solución de problemas. Además, se ofrecen recomendaciones para la instrumentación contextualizada de estrategias lectoras al proceso de enseñanza – aprendizaje de la comprensión de problemas matemáticos.

ABSTRACT
The article approaches an aspect of great importance for the practice and the theory pedagogical: the problems solving. It is recognized by different specialists, teachers and professors who the text understanding is closely united to the solving problems; nevertheless, it has not been deepened sufficiently on the relations that from the theoretical point of view exist between these processes. Consequently, with the raised thing in the article the objective is persecuted to explain the existing interrelations between the text concepts and mathematical problem; as well as of the processes textual reading and problems solving. Also they offer recommendations for the application of reading strategies in the process teaching – learning of the understanding of mathematical problems.
