The training of directors and their contribution to leadership in the technical schools

Resumen

La formación de los dirigentes educacionales, es una necesidad en Venezuela. Máxima, si tenemos en cuenta los grandes y rápidos cambios que se suceden en todos los niveles educativos con la introducción de nuevos programas, carreras y la utilización de las nuevas tecnologías de la Información y las Comunicaciones. (TIC) Especial atención debe darse a la formación dirigida a los directores de la Educación Técnica, por ser esta la que garantiza la mano de obra calificada para dirigir y ejecutar los procesos productivos que hoy se necesitan en el país. La investigación tiene como objetivo: Diseñar un sistema de formación que contribuya al liderazgo de los directores de escuelas técnicas del Eje Costero, Estado Carabobo. En la misma se empleó como método general el dialéctico materialista, el cual se apoyó en los métodos empíricos, teóricos y matemáticos, para profundizar en el conocimiento del objeto-campo de la investigación.  Se identifican las relaciones esenciales y sistémicas entre las características del sistema de formación de los directores de escuelas técnica y su contribución con el liderazgo de estos. Se aporta además la conceptuación de liderazgo de los directores de Educación técnica y formación para el liderazgo. En cuanto al aporte práctico, se presenta la propuesta de un sistema de formación para contribuir al liderazgo de los directores de la Educación Técnica, con esta investigación se beneficiaron todos los participantes de las diferentes escuelas técnicas del municipio, a partir de una mejor gestión de los dirigentes educacionales.

ABSTRACT

The training of educational leaders is a necessity in Venezuela, maximum if we take into account the great and rapid changes that occur at all educational levels with the introduction of new programs, careers and the use of the new technologies of the information and the communications (TIC). Special attention should be given to the training directed to the directors of Technical Education, as this is the one that guarantees the qualified workforce to direct and execute the productive processes that are needed today in the country. The objective of the research is: To design a training system that contributes to the leadership of the directors of technical schools in the Coastal Axis, Carabobo State. In it, the materialist dialectic was used as a general method, which relied on empirical, theoretical and mathematical methods, to deepen the knowledge of the object-field of the investigation. The contribution to the theory is expressed in the identification of the essential and systemic relationships between the characteristics of the training system of the directors of technical schools and their contribution to their leadership. The conceptualization of leadership of the directors of technical education and leadership training is also provided. Regarding the practical contribution, the proposal of a training system is presented to contribute to the leadership of the directors of Technical Education, with this research all the participants of the different technical schools of the municipality benefited, from a better management of their educational leaders.
