Incidence of family overprotection in the autonomous development of the child of Initial I and II of the Educational Unit of the Province of Manabí, Cascol

Resumen

El desarrollo en un niño es fundamental pues constituye el proceso mediante el cual el individuo desarrolla la parte afectiva y la interpreta. Son los sentimientos que se tienen hacia los demás, los cuales perduran durante un largo periodo de tiempo y son el resultado de las emociones que las personas sienten por algo o alguien.  El presente trabajo recalca la importancia de la familia como ente rector y principal de la crianza y educación de los niños. Es importante criar y educar a los hijos en un ambiente saludable, lleno de afecto; pero también es importante enseñarle a desenvolverse por sí mismo evitando sobreprotegerlos en todo lo que realicen. Se analizará el concepto de sobreprotección desde la perspectiva de diferentes autores, los efectos de la sobreprotección infantil y la importancia del juego en la vida de un niño. El objetivo principal es elaborar una guía de actividades que permita contribuir al desarrollo autónomo de los niños con sobreprotección familiar del nivel Inicial I y II.

ABSTRACT

The affective development in a child is fundamental because it constitutes the process through which the individual develops the affective part and interprets it. These are the feelings that one has towards others, which last for a long period of time and are the result of the emotions that people feel for something or someone.  The present work emphasizes the importance of the family as the governing and main entity in the upbringing and education of children. It is important to raise and educate children in a healthy environment, full of affection; but it is also important to teach them to develop on their own, avoiding overprotecting them in everything they do. The concept of overprotection will be analyzed from the perspective of different authors, the effects of child overprotection and the importance of play in a child's life. The main objective is to develop an activity guide that allows contributing to the autonomous development of children with family overprotection of Initial level I and II.
