La formación del maestro y la escuela del desarrollo
Resumen
El artículo refiere los retos que enfrentan la educación, la institución educativa y los educadores de Cuba y del mundo. Los indiscutibles resultados de la educación cubana, dentro del proceso revolucionario, no deben limitar el pensamiento crítico respecto a las dificultades que se enfrentan y a los errores cometidos. En el trabajo se analizan muchas manifestaciones negativas que se han visto florecer en todos estos años y que se deben superar a partir de esclarecer qué docente y qué escuela se quiere para la sociedad cubana, en correspondencia con los ideales sociales. En el esfuerzo por perfeccionar la formación de docentes, se evidencia la necesidad de integrar la tradición pedagógica cubana con el enfoque histórico cultural y desarrollar una educación más insertada en la comunidad y fortalecida por ella.

The Teacher Training and the Developing School
ABSTRACT. This article refers to the challenges faced by education, in schools, by Cuban teacher and throughout the world. The undisputable results of Cuban Education in the Revolutionary process, should not limit critical thinking in respect to the difficulties faced and the errors made. This article analyzes many negative manifestations that have come to light and must be overcome in order to properly establish the kind of school needed in Cuban society, so that it may correspond with the proper social ideals. In an effort to perfect the teacher training process, it is obvious that the necessity to integrate the tradition of Cuban Pedagogy with a Historical-Cultural approach and develop an education that is more closely linked to the community and thereby nourished by it in return.
