Resumen
El fenómeno religioso ha sido desde la antigüedad motivo de diversas interpretaciones desde aristas filosóficas y sociológicas. Este complejo proceso de la subjetividad humana constituye el reflejo de las contradictorias relaciones de los hombres con la naturaleza y consigo mismo, y en sus manifestaciones se evidencia la influencia que ejerce el contexto sobre el hombre históricamente determinado. En Cuba estas determinaciones adquieren significativa importancia al encontrar total correspondencia con el proceso de formación y desarrollo de la nacionalidad, específicamente desde la educación, sintetizando en esta forma de la espiritualidad las diferentes expresiones de la pedagogía religiosa que matizaron la identidad cultural cubana. Las características de la pedagogía de los colegios jesuitas radicados en Cuba durante la primera mitad del siglo XX, en estrecha relación con la influencia del contexto, constituyen elementos a tener en cuenta a la hora de configurar una educación nacional auténtica. Las formas de organización escolar implementadas, la estricta preparación de su claustro y la excelencia de sus métodos, configuran una integridad que resultó ser lo más sobresaliente en materia de educación en la etapa pre revolucionaria.

The religious phenomenon has been since the age of reason various philosophical and sociological interpretations from edges. This complex process of human subjectivity is the reflection of the contradictory relations of men with nature and with itself, and in its manifestations the influence of the context on evidence historically determined man. In Cuba these determinations acquire significant importance to find full correspondence with the process of formation and development of nationality, specifically from education, synthesising in this form of spirituality different expressions of religious pedagogy tinged Cuban cultural identity. The characteristics of the pedagogy of Jesuit schools based in Cuba during the first half of the twentieth century, closely related to the influence of context, are elements to consider when setting up a genuine national education. Implemented forms of school organization, strict preparation of the cloister and the excellence of their methods, form an integrity that turned out to be the most outstanding in education in pre revolutionary stage.
