Abstract
The article aims to describe the use of ICT in the development of the self-managed teaching-learning process of the LEE-L career, in the context of blended learning and in tune with the professional pedagogical mode of action of the students of the aforementioned career. It is derived from the tasks of the Research Project: Training in virtual learning environments at the University of Pinar del Río. The systematization of experiences and the bibliographic review were used as fundamental methods, which made it possible to obtain a detailed description of the new dimension that must be given to the didactics components, in light of the alternate use of digital and traditional contexts in which learning takes place. in the current Cuban university. It is concluded that blended learning must conceive ICT as mediators in the process and that the role of the teacher in this case alternates, although he maintains his role of directing it.
