Desafío en el proceso de enseñanza–aprendizaje de la historia local: una alternativa didáctica
Resumen
En los tiempos actuales, donde el nuevo milenio trae impregnado las características de un imperialismo cruel y sin fronteras, que pretende destruir las identidades nacionales de los pueblos, la escuela, la familia y la sociedad, representadas en la comunidad, han de ocupar el lugar que les corresponde en el complejo proceso de formar al individuo física y espiritualmente, pues la educación representa un proceso social complejo de carácter histórico y clasista, por medio del cual se hereda el conocimiento del ser humano. La Historia Local debe recobrar singular importancia, como vía imprescindible para rescatar el amor a la identidad de cada terruño, con el fin de conservar y de que las nuevas generaciones conozcan y trasmitan las costumbres y las tradiciones de cada localidad y se sientan parte indiscutible de una historia que también les pertenece. En ese empeño, las universidades cubanas de inicio del siglo se enfrentan a diversos y profundos cambios en la política educacional y en los programas que se instrumentan para elevar el nivel cultural de los ciudadanos. Por esta razón, en dicho artículo se propone una alternativa didáctica para el estudio de la Historia Local en la Universidad de Ciencias Pedagógicas Enrique José Varona.

Challenge in the teaching and learning of the local history: a didactic alternativeABSTRACT
In the current times, when the new millennium brings impregnated the characteristic of a cruel imperialism and without frontiers that it seeking to destroy the national identities of the countries, the school, the family and the society, acted in the community have of occupying the place that it corresponds in the complex process of forming to the individual physics and spiritually, well the education acts in behalf of a social process complex of character historic and clasista, through which it inherits himself the knowledge of the human being. The local history has to recover its singular importance in the space of the homeland history, like essential road for ransoming the love of the identity of each country with the aim of conserving and the new generations know and broadcast the way of life and traditions of each locality and feel indisputable part of history that also belong them. In that pawn the universities cubans of start of the century himself coming to grips to sundry and profound changes in the educational politics and in the programs that they orchestrate for lifting the level cultural of the citizenry. For this reason, in the present article, a didactic alternative is proposed for studying local history in the Enrique José Varona Science Pedagogic University.
