La obra educativa de la doctora Lesbia Gertrudis Cánovas Fabelo en la educación cubana
Resumen
La educación en Cuba es uno de los pilares fundamentales de la batalla ideológica que se lleva de frente , para fortalecer nuestros valores e ideales, y mantener nuestras tradiciones histórico- culturales, y de este modo obtener una cultura general integral más sólida, quedando demostrado históricamente por el papel que han desempeñado los cuantiosos educadores destacados con los que consta la pedagogía, no obstante, existe un vacío documental del estudio del magisterio en nuestro país en el siglo XX, hay poca memoria escrita y muy pocos relacionado con los aportes, de ahí que se hace necesario una periodización de la historia de vida de la Doctora Lesbia Gertrudis Cánovas Fabelo, una educadora destacada , pues las contribuciones hechas por ella, han constituido un baluarte en la defensa y el desarrollo posterior de la educación y la pedagogía cubana, ya que han contribuido tanto en lo teórico como en lo práctico un material relevante, sin embargo, no han sido estudiado y/o valorados de manera particular, para apreciar su alcance. Este análisis se hace partiendo de la recopilación de documentos, entrevistas, encuentros, testimonios, así como la caracterización de su quehacer pedagógico en las distintas etapas y contextos.

The education in Cuba is one of the fundamental pillars of the ideological battle that is taken of front, to strengthen our values and ideals, and to maintain our historical traditions - cultural, and this way to obtain a more solid integral general culture, being demonstrated historically by the paper that you/they have carried out the considerable ones outstanding with those that consists the pedagogy, a documental hole of the teaching's study exists nevertheless, in our country in the XX century, there are little written memory and very few related with the contributions, with the result that it becomes necessary a periodization of the history of life of the Doctor Lesbian Gertrude’s Cánovas Fabelo, an educating one outstanding, because the contributions made by her, they have constituted a rampart in the defense and the development later of the education and the Cuban pedagogy, since they have contributed as much in the theoretical thing as in the practical thing an excellent material, however, valued y/o in a particular way has not been studied, to appreciate its reach. This analysis is made leaving of the summary of documents, interviews, encounters, testimonies, as well as the characterization of its pedagogic chore in the different stages and contexts.
