Abstract

The article aims to characterize the current situation of rural education based on the particularities of reading comprehension in the teaching-learning process. The research is an analysis and reflection on the problems presented by rural multi-grade schools in the department of Huila, particularly in the processes of reading comprehension. It presents elements that characterize the current multi-grade rural education, didactic aspects for teaching-learning of reading comprehension and the importance of strengthening educational processes through this in the contexts of the Huila and Colombian countryside.
