Abstract
roblem: To satisfy the demands of professional guidance, in this case, the knowledge and educational influences that operate in the Villa Clara university community were brought together, in order to take advantage of them in terms of the comprehensive and continuous training of the future professional of journalism.
Objective: Systematize the experiences, importance and impact achieved in the Preparatory College of the Journalism career, at UCLV, and the effectiveness of the different techniques applied, in addition to exposing the level of student satisfaction. Methodology: Theoretical and empirical methods were used that allowed the experience to be valued and supported theoretically. The chosen methods are: analytical-synthetic, historical-logical, survey, observation and document analysis. Results and discussion: A system of activities is designed within a class program for professional orientation in Journalism at the UCLV Preparatory School, with the purpose of guiding the students of the School who opt for a career in Journalism, towards their future profession, dealing with topics and issues necessary to lead them to the university classrooms.
Conclusions: The teachers managed to carry out a system of activities that provided direct attention to the social training needs of future professionals.
