Abstract

The Cuban Revolution, an unprecedented event due to the multiple variables that intervene didactically in this process. It took the peasant out of the hut, made him owner of the land, eliminated unemployment, and abolished the minimum wages, created a scholar network in the country, whose beginning was the Literacy Campaign. It established the equality of citizens as an unprecedented act of social justice in America. Even nowadays it is difficult to find something similar, to this democracy model installed in the country. Many are the changes operated during this six decades of revolutionary power , in all fields of the cultural life of the nation , but there are remants of an embarrassing past that still weigh and lacerate the results of this transforming work , denying that is as great a crime as bearing it . Cuban society suffers from manifestations of non- institutional  racism , it exists as an ideological construction of some people , who from the place they occupy with subtle delicacy , practice it and thus damage the essence of something as neat as the revolution . From the forgoing, the following scientific problem arises to be solved by the researchers, How to address racism, from the identity workshops of the discipline History of Cuba in Higher Education? Generate the debate, the reflection and implementation of integrated actions that solve the problems associated with racism and the discriminatory behaviors of Cuban society, in the commitment turned into goal assumed by the authors from its treatment from Higher Education.
