Political culture, public opinion and political activity in the Cuban educational context

La cultura política, la opinión pública y la actividad política en el contexto educativo cubano

Abstract

The article deals, with a multidisciplinary perspective, with the link between political culture, the study of public opinion as a novel experience for the activity of political leadership and the necessary action of education and training of the population and especially its leaders in this component of the political system. Conceptual definitions of culture, politics and political culture are addressed, based on the deepening of these two polysemy components of their name, as well as their interconnection with the categories socialization, behavior and political participation. The strategic importance, in the current context, of the necessary training, preparation and education of managers to undertake processes of political leadership with a scientific approach is revealed, in order to identify political cultural elements that enable accurate decision-making, evaluation of the impact of measures actions and the solution of problems of daily life, in their management work.
