National security and defense for community prevention in the face of the impact of disasters
La seguridad y defensa nacional para la prevención comunitaria ante el impacto de los desastres
Abstract
Leisure time is an essential dimension of human activity, and its proper use during adolescence becomes a valuable opportunity for integral human growth. This research aims to develop community prevention actions against the impact of disasters that contribute to improving how adolescents utilize their leisure time. The study was conducted in the community of Sierra Caballo, located in the Special Municipality of Isla de la Juventud. Theoretical methods such as analytical-synthetic, inductive-deductive, and historical-logical were employed, alongside systematization as both a method and procedure. Techniques inherent to information management, such as bibliographic surveys and information search and recovery processes, were also used. The study determined the need for a community prevention system that productively channels adolescents' leisure time, as well as a system of actions designed to impact community work.
