Didactic strategy for the teaching-learning process of Fourier Series in Electrical Engineering

Abstract
University education finds among its greatest challenges the access of students to an education in which, as protagonists of their own learning, they develop professional skills, allowing them to solve the problems that arise in their specialty. For this, there must be a close relationship with the objectives declared in the discipline of Mathematics, the objectives and skills of knowledge declared in the program of the subject, in which this content is taught, which in this case is in the subject Mathematics III, the possibility of acquiring a high level of knowledge, emanating from schooling and the personal experiences of each individual, who will be able to make their own representation of their knowledge and consequently develop their skills. Cuban higher education needs a new vision in the interaction between students, teachers and the use of mathematical assistants in problem solving, demanding the creation of new teaching and learning models, new procedures and strategies for searching, organizing, processing and using information.The present work is the result of the authors' professional experience and analysis, in which they reflect on the particularities of teaching the subject "Fourier Series" in the new E study plans for the electrical engineering career and make proposals in order to achieve a better use and a higher motivation of the students.
