Teach Spanish language on the radio. Experience in the Hablemos de CMHW
Enseñar lengua española por radio. Experiencia en el programa Hablemos de CMHW
Abstract
Problem: For more than thirty years, the cultural magazine Hablemos, from the provincial station of Villa Clara, has had a weekly section dedicated to the defense of our mother tongue. Since the purpose of this space is to transform the way of saying and acting with respect to language, the aspects that make up the cultural variety of the listeners must be taken into account, that is, their spheres of regulation: affective-motivational and cognitive-instrumental. Objective(s): Systematize the experience in teaching the mother tongue by radio. Methodology: The methodological conception of the work is dialectical-materialist that enables the use of theoretical methods to approach the object as a developing totality. Historical-logical analysis, analytical-synthetic and inductive-deductive analysis and the researcher's diary are used as methods. Results and discussion: The work includes four closely related phases for which the didactic-methodological training of the teacher or radio professor is required, as this is the one who directs the pedagogical process: selection, design, intervention of the specialist and the exchange with listeners. Conclusions: In Defense of Language, learning is reinforced, the radio is used as a social mediator and mediates the relationship between the subject and its object of study, it is not used to describe the action to the listener, but so that the listener can also execute it. These are principles of the Cuban radio literacy programs, taken into account for the conception of the didactic dynamics of the sections.
