Resumen
La Universidad de Ciencias Médicas de La Habana centra sus esfuerzos en impulsar la formación doctoral a nivel institucional para incrementar el número de Doctores en Ciencias del claustro, esta formación ha traído para el hospital, desde la gestión del conocimiento de cada doctorando, un incremento en el número de proyectos investigativos institucionales, participación en eventos, Jornadas Científicas, Fórum de Ciencia y Técnica, publicaciones científicas, entre otros resultados, es por ello que en el presente artículo se tiene como finalidad valorar los resultados que ha propiciado para el hospital la implementación del doctorado tutelar institucional, y comparar datos de la producción científica antes y después de su implementación, con este propósito de utiliza el análisis documental de la sección de Posgrado e investigaciones del Departamento Docente del Hospital “Joaquín Albarrán Domínguez” en los años 2015-2020.
Con la implementación de la formación doctoral en el Departamento Docente del hospital encaminado a la formación de Doctores en Ciencias en Educación Médica desde el año 2017, lo cual ha posibilitado aumentar el desarrollo de las investigaciones científicas como ejecución de proyectos investigativos, tutorías, participación en eventos científicos, publicaciones, etc. Hoy participan en este programa 46 profesionales, se cuenta con 73 proyectos investigativos institucionales, 84 publicaciones, y varias actividades científicas encaminadas al cumplimiento del programa, que ha logrado incrementar sustancialmente la producción científica desde el fortalecimiento de las competencias investigativas de los profesionales para el desarrollo de la investigación en la institución.

Abstract
The University of Medical Sciences of Havana focuses its efforts on promoting doctoral training at institutional level to increase the number of Doctors of Science in the faculty, this training has brought to the hospital, from the knowledge management of each doctoral student, an increase in the number of institutional research projects, participation in events, Scientific Conferences, Forum of Science and Technology, scientific publications, among other results. This is why this article aims to assess the results it has brought to the hospital, from the knowledge management of each doctoral student, an increase in the number of institutional research projects, participation in events, Scientific Conferences, Forum of Science and Technology, scientific publications, among other results, which is why this article aims to assess the results that the implementation of the institutional tutelary doctorate has brought to the hospital, and compare data on scientific production before and after its implementation, with this purpose of using the documentary analysis of the Postgraduate and research section of the Teaching Department of the "Joaquín Albarrán Domínguez" Hospital in the years 2015-2020.
With the implementation of doctoral training in the Teaching Department of the hospital aimed at the training of Doctors of Science in Medical Education since 2017, which has made it possible to increase the development of scientific research such as execution of research projects, tutorials, participation in scientific events, publications, etc. Nowadays, 46 professionals participate in this program, there are 73 institutional research projects, 84 publications, and several scientific activities aimed at the fulfillment of the program, which has managed to substantially increase scientific production from the strengthening of the research competencies of professionals for the development of research in the institution.
