The Vodu Drums in Cuba

El presente trabajo tiene como objetivo caracterizar la influencia haitiana durante los siglos xıx y xx y el legado cultural del Vodú. Empleamos para ello el método lógico histórico con elementos de analítico-sintético, sobre la base de la investigación de campo. Se refiere a dos emigraciones haitianas: entre 1792 y 1804, a raíz de la Revolución Haitiana y en la década de 1913-1930. El artículo contribuye a la formación cultural de los profesores en formación.

ABSTRACT

The objective of this article is to characterize the Haitian influence into the Cuban culture and the legacy of Vodu. The arrival of 530 000 Haitians to Cuban soil printed a special seal. The applied method for this research is the historical logic with elements of the analytical synthetic. We make use of field technics from sociology.It refers the ethnical groups that influenced Cuba, we want to point out two migrations that came from Haiti: during the Haitian Revolution (1792-1804) and between 1913 and 1930. The article contributest the cultural formation of the professors in formation.
