Blas Roca, el educador de siempre

Resumen

El objetivo del artículo es valorar la figura de Blas Roca (1908-1987) como un educador social del siglo XX cubano. Se realizó un análisis de los contenidos de conferencias, artículos, revistas, folletos, periódicos, manuales y libros esencialmente lo que posibilitó sistematizar y reflexionar sobre sus ideas acerca de la educación, de su carácter, de la función social de la escuela y el maestro, el papel de la educación y la cultura, así como de otras importantes consideraciones educativas que conforman la historia de Cuba.

ABSTRACT

The objective of the article is to value Blas Roca figure (1908 -1987) as a social educator of the XX Cuban century. He was carried out an analysis of the contents of conferences, articles, magazines, pamphlets, newspapers, manuals and books essentially what facilitated to systematize and to meditate about their ideas about the education, of their character, of the social function of the school and the teacher, the paper of the education and the culture, as well as of other educational important considerations that conform the history of Cuba.
