The family-school-community link of the current Dominican school

Abstract

This article aims to characterize the family-school-community relationship at the Salesian Technical Institute in the Dominican Republic. The study focused on the variable of managing the family-school-community connection through information and communication technologies. The variable was operationalized, its dimensions and indicators were determined, and the established parameters were shown; then the tools were created and applied to gather information, and using theoretical, methodological, and statistical methods, the initial state of the family-school-community relationship was characterized. The strengths and weaknesses were determined.
