The career guidance process with a military focus in students of Basic Secondary Education
Abstract
This article aims to propose a pedagogical strategy for the career guidance process—incorporating a military focus—to foster an interest in Ministry of the Interior specialties among basic secondary students in the municipality of Pinar del Rio, Cuba. Theoretical methods (historical-logical analysis, induction-deduction, hypothetical-deductive, systemic-structural-functional, modeling, and systematization), empirical methods (document analysis, observation, surveys, interviews, and pedagogical testing), and mathematical-statistical methods were employed. A four-stage pedagogical strategy was developed—based on specific principles and phases—that integrates institutional and group educational projects with the coordinated participation of the system of educational influences. This strategy contributes to refining the career guidance process and fostering an interest in these specialties among basic secondary students.
