Abstract

The objective of the article is to theoretically substantiate the influence of good performance by the healthcare team on achieving a healthy aging of the Cuban population. .A systematization of the main references was carried out to support a strategy with a preventive and integral focus that addresses chronicity and aging. An integral and integrative strategy is required, multidisciplinary, coordinated across care levels, intersectoral, and with a person- and family-centered approach that coexists with chronic diseases.
