Abstract
The objective of this article is to present from a theoretical point of view, the process of professional orientation and pedagogical professional reaffirmation in cuban pedagogical schools. Different research results obtained referring to the process of professional guidance and pedagogical professional reaffirmation are systematized, with emphasis on the pedagogical school. The systematization of the definition could affirm that professional pedagogical guidance is conceived as a process that helps individuals make decisions about their professional career in the educational field and the process of professional reaffirmation transcends the educational institution and promotes the formation of interests, attitudes and ways of acting and directs the young person's behavior towards professional activity.
