Digital transformation in university academic processes
La transformación digital en los procesos académicos universitarios
Abstract
The objective of this paper is to assess the digital transformation in university academic processes in the medical university context. The systematization of the literature reviewed allows us to establish that digital transformation focuses on ensuring that medical science teachers, in addition to their initial skills, have access to the necessary digital training. Digitalization encompasses academic and administrative processes, innovation, and models for incorporating new ways of perceiving a university into the updating and training of the users involved. This promotes digital equity and ensures that education is inclusive and accessible for all.
