Indicators for journals to apply to the Latindex Catalog 2.0

Resumen

Este artículo tiene el objetivo de analizar el cumplimiento de los  Indicadores para  postulación al Catálogo 2.0 de Revistas Científicas de América Latina, el Caribe, España y Portugal (Latindex) por parte de la revista Orbita Científica, de la Universidad de Ciencias Pedagógicas Enrique José Varona, La Habana, Cuba. El trabajo requiere la realización del análisis bibliográfico de los principales temas teóricos y el empleo de métodos matemáticos. Se determinó que el nivel de cumplimento de los Indicadores para  su postulación en dicho Catálogo es alto. Se propusieron cambios  a la revista  para que pueda ingresar al  Catálogo 2.0 de Latindex, en cuanto a: características de presentación y las características de revistas en línea.

ABSTRACT

The objective of this article is to analyze compliance with the Indicators for application to the Catalog 2.0 of Scientific Journals of Latin America, the Caribbean, Spain and Portugal (Latindex) by the journal Orbita Científica, of the Enrique José Varona University of Pedagogical Sciences, Havana, Cuba. The work requires the performance of the bibliographic analysis of the main theoretical topics and the use of mathematical methods. It was determined that the level of compliance with the Indicators for application in said Catalog is high. Changes were proposed to the journal so that it can enter the Latindex Catalog 2.0, in terms of: presentation features and the characteristics of online journals.
