Legal dimension and National Security

Resumen

El artículo fundamenta desde el marco conceptual, la importancia de la dimensión jurídica para el fortalecimiento y consolidación de la Seguridad Nacional en Cuba, a partir de su contribución a las diferentes dimensiones que lo integran, ante posibles amenazas, que puedan atentar contra los intereses de la Revolución y del pueblo. Con la globalización neoliberal, la seguridad jurídica ha dejado de ser una garantía dada al ciudadano por el estado, de que su persona, sus bienes y sus derechos no serán violentados, para convertirse, en una herramienta legal utilizada por los estados para favorecer a los grandes intereses económicos nacionales y extranjeros  por encima de los intereses de sus pueblos.

ABSTRACT

The article bases from the conceptual framework, the importance of the legal dimension for the strengthening and consolidation of National Security in Cuba, based on its contribution to the different dimensions that comprise it, in the face of possible threats of an external and internal nature, which may attack the interests of the Revolution and the people. With neoliberal globalization, legal certainty has ceased to be a guarantee given to citizens by the state, that their person, property and rights will not be violated, to become a legal tool used by states to dispossess and favor to the great national and foreign economic interests above the interests and human rights of their peoples.
