Resumen

The retention of the human capital in the institutions of the superior Cuban education

El objetivo del artículo es sistematizar los sustentos teóricos de la retención del capital humano en las instituciones de la educación superior cubanas. El estudio bibliográfico realizado permitió caracterizar el proceso estudiado como estratégico, inherente a la alta dirección, mayormente vinculado con la rotación voluntaria y debe dirigirse únicamente a empleados identificados como estratégicos. Se muestra el consenso entre los teóricos sobre la influencia de tres dimensiones en la estabilidad laboral del capital humano y por consiguiente en su retención: individual, organizacional, y el entorno.

ABSTRACT

The objective of the article is to systematize the theoretical sustenance of the retention of the human capital in the institutions of the superior Cuban education. The bibliographical carried out study allowed to characterize the process studied as strategic, inherent to the high address, mostly linked with the voluntary rotation and it should only go to identified employees as strategic. The consent is shown among the theoretical ones on the influence of three dimensions in the labor stability of the human capital and consequently in its retention: individual, organizational, and the environment.
