ACERCA DE LA GESTIÓN DE ENTORNOS VIRTUALES DE ENSENANZA -APRENDIZAJE DEL INGLÉS
Resumen
El impacto de las Tecnologías de la Información y las Comunicaciones en la educación ha favorecido la creación de nuevos espacios de aprendizaje de lenguas extranjeras. El artículo tiene como objetivo socializar los resultados del trabajo realizado hasta el momento en la gestión de entornos virtuales de aprendizaje del inglés en el Departamento de Idiomas del Instituto Técnico Militar José Martí. El empleo de métodos de análisis documental y síntesis de la información, así como métodos estadísticos, permitió responder a las interrogantes: ¿Cuáles son los antecedentes en el empleo de tecnologías y el diseño de productos didácticos informáticos?, ¿Cuáles son las tendencias en la gestión de entornos virtuales en la educación superior?, ¿Cuál es el estado actual de la gestión de entornos virtuales en el Departamento de Idiomas del Instituto Técnico Militar? En las conclusiones se subrayan las potencialidades tecnológicas y científico metodológicas para la gestión de entornos virtuales.
ABSTRACT: The impact of Information and Communication Technologies in education has favored the creation of new spaces for learning foreign languages. The objective of the article is to socialize the results of the work carried out so far in the management of virtual environments for learning English in the Department of Languages at José Martí Military Technical Institute. The use of documentary analysis methods and information synthesis, as well as statistical methods, allowed us to answer the questions: What are the antecedents in the use of technologies and the design of computer didactic products? What are the trends in the management of virtual environments in higher education? What is the current state of the management of virtual environments in the Department of Languages at Military Technical Institute? The conclusions highlight the technological and scientific methodological potentialities for the management of virtual environments.
