DISEÑO E IMPLEMENTACIÓN DE LA ASIGNATURA INFORMÁTICA EN EL AULA VIRTUAL DE LA UNIVERSIDAD VIRTUAL DE SALUD - FACULTAD DE MEDICINA MANUEL FAJARDO

Resumen

Cuando las TIC son utilizadas para compartir contenidos educativos para el aprendizaje y moti- var que los estudiantes se relacionen entre sí y con sus profesores a través de redes de computadoras estamos en presencia de aprendizaje en red. Con el objetivo de mejorar el proceso de enseñanza-aprendizaje de la asig- natura Informática de la Disciplina Informática Médica se decidió, por los profesores del departamento, imple- mentar dicha asignatura como curso virtual, según los requerimientos de este tipo de aprendizaje y utilizando plataformas informáticas que permitieran la interacción entre estudiantes y profesores desde cualquier escena- rio. Esto propició la familiarización de los estudiantes desde primer año con el aprendizaje en red y el aprove- chamiento de los recursos existentes en la facultad: la Universidad Virtual de Salud (UVS-Fajardo), combinada con el Aula Virtual Fajardo.(AV-Fajardo).Inicialmente se implementó como práctica exploratoria la asignatura Informática en el Aula Virtual para gradualmente incorporar el resto de las asignaturas de la disciplina. Con ello se ha comenzado la transición de una docencia basada esencialmente en el uso del ftp de la facultad para al- macenar los Materiales Didácticos Digitales (MDD) hacia una docencia utilizando Entornos Virtuales de Aprendi- zaje (EVA) en cursos semipresenciales y a distancia, y la utilización de la UVS-Fajardo, como repositorio de Recursos Educativos Digitales (RED) de apoyo para la docencia de las asignaturas de las carreras de la facultad y la enseñanza postgraduada.

THE DESIGN AND IMPLEMENTATION OF THE COMPUTER SUBJECT IN THE VIRTUAL CLASSROOM OF THE VIRTUAL UNIVERSITY OF HEALTH - FACULTY OF MEDICINE “MANUEL FAJARDO”

When the TIC is used to share educational contents for the learning and to motivate that the stu- dents are related to each other and with their professors through nets of computers are in learning presence in net. With the objective of improving the process of teaching-learning of the Computer subject of the Medical Computer Discipline decided, for the professors of the department, to implement this subject like virtual course, according to the requirements of this learning type and using computer platforms that allowed the interaction between students and professors from any scenario. This propitiated the familiarization of the students from first year with the learning in net and the use of the existent resources in the faculty: the Virtual University of Health (UVS-Fajardo) combined with the Virtual Classroom Fajardo. (AV-Fajardo). Initially it was implemented as ex- ploratory practice the Computer subject in the Virtual Classroom for gradually to incorporate the rest of the sub- jects of the discipline. With it has been begun it the transition of a education based essentially on the use of the ftp of the faculty to store the Digital Didactic Materials (MDD) toward a education using Virtual Environments of Learning (EVA) in courses to distance, and the use of the UVS-Fajardo, as collection of packages of programs of Digital Educational Resources (NET) of support for the education for the subjects of the careers of the faculty and the postgraduate teaching.
