The results obtained highlight that preparation for employment is a process integrated with curriculum development, professional practice and the university-society link, which contributes to an integral and relevant training. It is concluded that the stage of preparation for employment is not an end in itself, but the starting point for the professional improvement and continuous development of graduates, ensuring their successful integration and their capacity for innovation in the Cuban labor context. The theoretical methods used to identify weaknesses and strengths demonstrate the need for further practical training with a view to adapting to work in a changing Cuban labour market.
2026-01-28T11:32:49-05:00 ##submission.copyrightStatement## http://revistas.ucpejv.edu.cu/index.php/rOrb/article/view/3003 Notes on the development of educational work in professional pedagogical training in Cuba 2026-01-26T11:36:59-05:00 Dayami Velazquez Soto, MSc. dayamivelazquezsoto@gmail.com Osmaida Martínez-Nápoles, MSc. osmaida1790@gmail.com Lázara Anaís Granados Guerra, Dr. C. lazaraanaisgg2020@gmail.com
The objective of this article is to analyze the theoretical and methodological foundations that support the development of educational work in professional pedagogical training at the upper secondary level in Cuba. The results obtained from the study carried out in different sources of historical content, the application of the logical historical method and the realization of a periodization to understand the evolution of the studied object are revealed. It is evident that the development of educational work in professional pedagogical training in Cuba has evolved in correspondence with the socio-historical and cultural context, which is tempered with the demands of society on education, which expedites it as a process of

historical and cultural development. The valuable contributions of prestigious pedagogues are recognized, who today constitute foundations and necessary references to assist in current educational processes.
2026-01-26T11:36:59-05:00 ##submission.copyrightStatement## http://revistas.ucpejv.edu.cu/index.php/rOrb/article/view/2927 Differential Calculus in higher education. Proposals for its teaching 2026-01-12T11:50:14-05:00 Andrés Valdés Linares, MSc. avaldesl@icb.cujae.edu.cu Olimpo Gainza Pérez, MSc. ocgainzaperez@gmail.com
Several investigations have reported the difficulties of students when working the topic of Differential calculus in first-year calculus programs in almost all universities. An analytical review is presented on the concept of pedagogical differentiation, examining its theoretical and technical foundations, its knowledge implications, and the controversy inherent in its application in the processes of teaching and learning. Theoretical methods are employed. The bases for constructing a platform for a more inclusive differentiated learning are shown. It is suggested that successful differentiation requires a teaching staff that adapts to the diverse levels, needs, and backgrounds of the students. The need for more research-based strategies aimed at opening the academic achievement gap among students, following existing learning paradigms, is highlighted.
2026-01-12T00:00:00-05:00 ##submission.copyrightStatement## http://revistas.ucpejv.edu.cu/index.php/rOrb/article/view/2950 The influence of higher education on local agricultural development: the case of Caimito 2025-11-24T11:54:27-05:00 Nidia Reinoso Toledo, Ing. nidiareinoso234@gmail.com Gretel Vázquez Zubizarreta, Dr. C. gretelvz@gmail.com Berta O. Mezquía Noa, MSc. bertamn@gmail.com
Agricultural production, a strategic sector in Cuba, promotes innovation through university-business ties. This study analyzes this link as a key element for agricultural innovation, highlighting the mediating role of municipal university centers. Through a case study of the municipality of Caimito and its Local Food Systems, challenges and opportunities for strengthening this synergy are identified. Using theoretical (analytical-synthetic, inductive-deductive, historical-logical) and empirical (documentary analysis) methods from a dialectical materialist perspective, the results reveal that the university center functions as a critical link for the transfer of scientific and technological knowledge to the agrifood sector, promoting innovation through co-designed training processes. It is concluded that the intentional integration of training, applied research, and productive demands is essential for materializing science in the field and moving toward sustainable agrarian systems.
2025-11-24T11:54:09-05:00 ##submission.copyrightStatement## http://revistas.ucpejv.edu.cu/index.php/rOrb/article/view/2962 Didactic guide for diagnosing bilingual communicative competence in deaf learners, considering their diversity 2025-11-18T13:03:24-05:00 Xiomara Rodríguez Fleitas, Dr. C. xiomararodriguezfleitas@gmail.com Jenny León Martínez, MSc. jenleomar2404@gmail.com
Speech therapy intervention requires the diagnosis of hearing and language as the foundation for the development of bilingual communicative competence in deaf learners. In this sense, a teaching guide is proposed for diagnosing this competence in general, and particularly for those who benefit from the cochlear implant. An update is made to this diagnostic tool recognized as the Language Exploration Battery for Deaf Students (BELES), which has been validated nationwide since 2004-05. Among the theoretical and empirical methods used, the following stand out: documentary analysis, modeling, observation, and interviews. The exploratory blocks are restructured and the design of the speech rehabilitation levels for deaf students with cochlear implants is introduced, consistent with the stages of auditory perception development to promote the development of oral communication. The methodological procedures of each level are specified for the diagnosis and speech therapy intervention with the aim of developing bilingual communicative competence. The results of its validation in pedagogical practice have evidenced its didactic value by recognizing the importance of communication for access to the curriculum and learning in general.
2025-11-18T13:03:24-05:00 ##submission.copyrightStatement## http://revistas.ucpejv.edu.cu/index.php/rOrb/article/view/2603 Procedures for the Evaluation of Professional Orientation Skill. Therefore, teachers must, in their teaching practices, address this exercise methodologically. This exercise includes developmental dynamics in which metacognition and meta-learning strategies, emerging from students' intellectual potential, empower them with reading prominence, expressed in their knowledge and know-how, as an example of the platform for professional text interpretation and creation they represent. For these reasons, in this work, consistent with the cognitive, communicative and sociocultural approach that assumes the logic of the treatment of the levels of comprehension, it is considered appropriate to propose a logic of reading comprehension, structured by the generation of inferences, so that the intersubjectivity and culture accumulated by the students constitute interpretive-constructionist entities, conceived as resources for reading and production of meanings, which in the dynamics of generating inferences, can guarantee professional communicative understanding and construction. Holistic modeling from the dialectical perspective illustrates the logic that is articulated from the generation of inferences, as a transformative dynamic of the reading process and its comprehension.
2025-11-03T12:33:57-05:00 ##submission.copyrightStatement## http://revistas.ucpejv.edu.cu/index.php/rOrb/article/view/2969 Pedagogical conception for the environmental education of the university student, from the thought of Fidel Castro 2025-10-27T14:22:12-04:00 Keily Alicia Ramos Moreno, MSc. jrvazquezl@uij.edu.cu José Rolando Vázquez Labrada, Dr. C. jrvazquezl@uij.edu.cu Ana Gloria Rubié Cabrera, Dr. C. anagloriarc@ucpejv.edu.cu
The research aimed to identify the theoretical foundations for the design of a pedagogical conception intended for the Environmental Education (EE) of Cuban university students, based on Fidel Castro's environmental thought. A literature search was conducted, and key theoretical methods such as historical-logical, analytical-synthetic, systemic-structural, and modeling were employed, allowing for the study of the theory and the potential of Castro's thought for EE. The main results include the systematization of the historical and theoretical foundations, and the design of the pedagogical conception. A system of categories and principles, and an implementation methodology are identified. This conception establishes links between pedagogical research and environmental thought, strengthening EE as a transversal dimension of the student's comprehensive training process.
2025-10-27T14:22:12-04:00 ##submission.copyrightStatement## http://revistas.ucpejv.edu.cu/index.php/rOrb/article/view/2830 Model for evaluating the professional competence of ultrasound imaging technologists 2025-10-27T12:31:17-04:00 Suleyka Cabello Daza, MSc. suleika@infomed.sld.cu Carmen Rita Díaz Rodríguez, Dr. C. carmenrita@infomed.sld.cu Maurice José González Basulto, Dr. C. mauricegb1985@gmail.com
It's a challenge to train Imaging Technologists with highly certified professional ultrasonography competence, which is essential for their inclusion in different levels of healthcare.
